The new e’pack makes its stateside debut at Environment’s ICFF satellite party

On the heels of its Milan unveiling, the well-received e’pack collection was guest of honor at Environment’s New York showroom event on May 16th.

Against the backdrop of ICFF, the guitar-and-graffiti party from Salone continued stateside, where graffiti artists Blusterone, Fuse Green, Saviour Sanquiche transformed the Topanga to stunning, “I-don’t-even-need-a-book” shelves, and recording artists Tommy Brunett and Richard Barone made very good use of Les Paul guitars that Gibson lent for the party. Brunett performs live in the LA showroom this Saturday, June 12.

In the Environment spirit of reuse—and a sort of cross-cultural patriotism—artist Peter Tunney painted one of the brand’s signature reclaimed Brazilian truck tarps with an American flag, a one-of-a-kind exclusive for the ICFF satellite party.

Cheekily titled Jasper who?, the 80-square-feet piece is for sale along with Tunney’s other work. Jean-Marie Massaud, Environment’s Creative Director, made an appearance live from Paris, and Italian artist Corrado Abate’s "Emotive Self Portrait" was on display.

Using a slender slab of reclaimed oak and iron, this work embodies a depth and sophisticated simplicity in line with that of Environment itself.

Star baker Tawny Ong, whose mini-cupcakes are topped with icing treats like mocha butter cream, and the heralded El Carrito Rojo taco truck were on hand, and guests enjoyed lounging on the original collection’s Santos and Edge beds.

And nestled among potted trees in Environment’s gorgeous, two-story showroom, e’pack’s cloudlike Grace lamps, foldable Walter chairs and versatile-chic Gatsby containers made a beautiful American debut.
