It was the timelessness of their Biscuit Stool that caught our eye, because timelessness not only saves trees—it looks good, too. Now Environment produces this unassuming little gem in two different woods: American Ash and Black Walnut. We are proud to work with American foresters based in the North East of the USA who responsibly manage forests that have been family owned for generations.
This beautifully designed stool is manufactured in a small facility in Delaware, each piece is carefully crafted, with passion.
A bit like our Shaker Table, the Biscuit Stool is appealing for its, well, not-too-stuffy sophistication. Sometimes paradoxes can be simple.
