DIRECTOR OF SALES

Seeking Senior sales executive to manage all sales activities for Environment Furniture, a well established furniture company based in Los Angeles and rapidly growing nationally and internationally.
The candidate should have long term and direct experience in furniture sales, team management, necessary contacts and a successful experience in dealing with large as well as small retail customers. The candidate does not have to be based in Los Angeles, travel required to gain new accounts, maintain accounts and conduct sales trainings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Senior sales manager in charge of all sales activities, departments and personnel involved in Sales and Marketing for the Company.
• Travel required, to gain new accounts, maintain accounts , and conduct sales trainings.
• Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals. Set up annual sales plan w CEO.
• Reports to the Chief Executive Officer/President.
• Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
• Establishes performance goals for all rep’s, and monitors performance on a continual basis.
• Oversees all hiring, training and firing of personnel involved in Sales
• Develops, or participates with Staff, in the development of the Strategic Sales Plan for the Company.
• Directs department(s) to achieve objectives established in the Company’s Sales Plan.
• Coordinates sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company.
• Develops and/or maintains and improves business relations with all customers of the company.
• Handle Claim process, to ensure customer satisfaction. Resolve claim with customer, record claim to factory, reconcile charge back amounts to factory.
• Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company.
• Senior responsibility for all Trade Show Production
• Work with Marketing Director on advertising and marketing efforts
